bathroom break
You read that right, but it’s not what you’re thinking. We decided to take a small break (sort of) from the bathroom renovation. Remember the hallway and closet we removed to get rid of choppy wasted space? Well, it’s time to put a wall back up.
The wall is two fold. First, it will be a wall that closes in the bathroom, so I guess we aren’t officially breaking from it. Second, it gets Superman an area for his desk so that we can kick him out of our dining room. Our kids can’t eat meals like civilized people, and apparently clients don’t like hearing a zoo during professional calls. So, we’re all clashing at the moment and Superman getting his own space has become more of a priority.
We’re getting closer! Drywall is a sight for sore eyes, or at least eyes that are craving to see a finished house project. Regrettably, we ended up moving on to another project [before finishing this one] so we needed to move Superman in before completely finishing mudding and painting.
Don’t mind the gaudy cloud sticker, he works better with a messy desk, so I covered it for you. :) The original wood floor got to stay in this area since it [hopefully] won’t be getting flooded by little people. Can you see the light at the end of the office tunnel?
